Orders and delivery

Where do you ship?
We currently ship within Australia, from an Australian warehouse.

How much is shipping?
Standard tracked shipping is calculated at checkout for most orders, and it’s free on orders over $75. 

How long will my order take?
We aim to dispatch within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery depends on where you live, and you’ll get an Australia Post tracking number by email.

Where’s my order?
Use the tracking link in your dispatch email. If it’s been longer than expected, email us with your order number and we’ll look into it.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Orders are packed quickly, so please email us as soon as possible. We can’t change an order once it’s dispatched.

Returns

What’s your returns policy?
You can return unopened tea in its original sealed pouch within 30 days of delivery. For hygiene reasons we can’t accept opened pouches unless there’s a problem with them. Return postage for change-of-mind returns is at your cost.

What if my order is faulty or damaged?
Email us with your order number and a photo, and we’ll send a replacement or refund it. This applies whenever you notice the problem.

How do I start a return?
Email hello@lumalair.com before posting anything back, so we can give you the right details. Refunds go to your original payment method within 5 business days of us receiving the item.

Our teas

Which blends contain caffeine?
The Luma range contains caffeine: Luma Breakfast Tea (black and white tea), Luma Apple Spice Tea (green tea) and Luma Vegan Chai Tea (black tea). The Lair range is naturally caffeine-free: Lair Berry Haven and Lair Herbal Cradle.

Are your teas organic and vegan?
Our blends are made with organic ingredients. Each product page and pouch shows which blends are vegan.

How do I brew loose leaf tea?
Use about one heaped teaspoon per cup (250ml) and follow the directions on your pouch. As a guide, black tea suits just-boiled water for 3 to 5 minutes, green tea prefers cooler water (70 to 80°C) for 2 to 3 minutes, and herbal blends usually take 5 to 7 minutes. You can use an infuser, strainer or a teapot with a filter.

How should I store my tea?
Keep it in its resealable pouch in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat. The best before date is printed on each pouch.

Full ingredients are on every pouch and product page. If you have an allergy, please check the list before ordering, and email us if you’re unsure.

How do the bundle savings work?
Save $2 on every extra pouch in the same order.

Health and safety

Do your teas have health benefits?
We don’t make health claims. We tell you what’s in each blend and how it tastes. For health questions, speak with your doctor or pharmacist.

Can I drink these teas if I’m pregnant or nursing?
Herbal ingredients aren’t suitable for everyone. If you’re pregnant or nursing, please check with your healthcare provider first.
